Nova Shipyard was established by Naval Architect Genco Yener with a clear mandate: to deliver vessels that meet the highest standards of engineering precision, structural integrity, and operational performance.

Based in Tuzla, Istanbul, Turkey's foremost maritime hub, Nova operates as a specialized shipyard serving clients across international markets.

Our expertise is built upon two core disciplines.

In the workboat segment, Nova designs and constructs high-performance steel and aluminium vessels engineered for the rigorous demands of commercial and specialized operations. In the passenger vessel segment, our portfolio reflects an equal commitment to technical excellence and considered design, most notably demonstrated by Autrement, recognized as the Best Large Tour Boat of 2025.

Nova Shipyard is at the forefront of the maritime industry's transition toward sustainable propulsion.

Our hybrid and full electric E-Propulsion solutions are developed in accordance with international environmental regulations, offering clients a measurable reduction in emissions and long-term operational efficiency, particularly for operations in the North Sea and Northern European waters.

All stages of production, from initial naval architecture and 3D structural modelling through to final outfitting and sea trials, are executed under a single roof and a unified quality standard.
